I couldn’t stop reading this book. (Until I ran out of words to read.) Hodgman is a funny, honest, and delightful storyteller who inspires me to be a better writer. At times I paused, held my paperback copy of Vacationland to the spot in my chest where I believe my soul resides and said, “Thank you.” What a generous, insightful and wonderful inviation into the life experiences and inner workings of John Hodgman's brain. If you like hilarious and smart people, you'll like this book...So yeah, There's your goddamn book review. Now, go fuckin' read it. (That's an inside joke.)
