As a man whose hair is going thin, I’m looking for ways to remind myself it’s gonna be ok. So here’s a list of 5 bald men. I don’t know them — never met them — but they inspire me. I drew pictures of them too.
Larry David
Losing follicles is no laughing matter, but Larry David has used it as a comedic tool throughout his career. He’s a comedy mastermind and a remarkable writer who never seizes to make me look at the world in new and hilarious ways.
Bill Murray
Bill might be looking thin on the top, but he’s truly lived life to the fullest and the kind of guy I wanna hang out with. From SNL sketches to all those Wes Anderson flicks, whenever something features this legendary goofball goon it always puts me in a good mood.
Jeff Bezos
His hairline failed him in his 30s, but he’s made up for it with soaring business success. One of the world’s richest people, the founder of Amazon is truly a modern pioneer — trailblazing the world of eCommerce online and now pushing the boundaries of human exploration and entrepreneurship beyond our earth with Blue Origin. Big ups to you, Bezos. (And Jeff, if you’d like this drawing, I’ll sell it for a Billion dollars and donate the proceeds to my middle-class family.)
Alan Faena
Exquisite taste in design and hospitality, bald as an egg. Alan Faena has developed a masterful and incredible blend of style, to me it’s a mashup of Trump and Headspace, a lavish and opulent form of wellbeing and mindfulness that creates an aura of ultimate sophistication and luxury. Whatever you want to call it, I like it, but also wish I could afford to stay and experience the highfalutin culture.
The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson
Nobody rocks the chrome dome like The Rock. A badass and a babyface, Dwayne Johnson is a real hero. From shouting about the scents that he was cooking, to the VO of Pixar demigods, he’s a force of inspiration. Viva la bald, Jabroni!
