Well, I can’t say that becoming a bread photographer was ever on my bucket list. But it’s been a quietly satisfying hobby and a good way to practice some food photography skills. A table in my backyard has become my photo set while I hunker and hang out up here in Michigan with the family, it’s been my little creative routine as I spend some quality quarantine time at home sweet home.

How bout them loaves? Bread became a subject of interest because my dad has been on a hot quarantine baking addiction and my mom has a stockpile of fanciful table cloths stored about the house. And I have a camera. Together we make quite a haphazard food photography team.

Clearly this hobby isn’t a breadwinner off the bat. I’ve yet to make any cash money dough from these lovely looking loaves but that hasn’t stopped my spirit and creative energy from rising. Give your eyes a slice of these shots, available on Shutterstock.
