Oh the joys of growing Cucuzza. We had another great year, starting with five cucuzza plants. It didn’t take long for these vines to climb and combine to form a giant green vine monster that took over a portion of the backyard. Cucuzza gone wild — this lovely plant beast produced a plethora of terrifically tasty cucuzza all summer long.
This year I wanted to work on creating a vlog style video that would be informational for those looking to pollinate and harvest and also fun to watch. Working with a narrative VO was also a fairly new thing to practice too. I had a lot of footage for this piece and it was good practice to have the patience and technique to work through Premiere Pro with a heap of content that I captured over the growing season.
Since it’s all the raging trend, I created a little content for TikTok, I cut down the harvesting sections and used them for a little highlight reel here. It was a great reason to finally dive and start getting familiar with the platform. Something I’ve been admittedly avoiding doing for some time.
