From a sketch of overlapping Hi’s, to a repeating pattern on pants — this is how these pants came to be. The hand-drawn art made for some fun yoga drawers.
Creating this product was amazingly simple and efficient. I scanned the illustration in, snagged a square sample of the art from Illustrator, then uploaded the design to Printful (an app connected to my Squarespace shop). From Printful, I repeated the pattern over the yoga pants and within a few clicks, these pants were up in my shop. It’s mind-blowing to me how easy it is to have an idea and push it out into the world in the form of a product without having any overhead costs. The opportunity for a creator is astonishing!
