It was an epic adventure of golf. My brother Jimmy and I played The Bay Harbor Golf Club, located along the cliffs of Lake Michigan. “Majestic. Beautiful... I can’t tell you how many times I said wow. This course is immaculate. The views of the lake are magnificent. The lake looks like an ocean. It’s like a Pebble Beach in Northern Michigan.” These are all bold words and phrases I’ve used to try and describe how wonderful it felt to play this course. In fact, all of Boyne is an absolute playground composed on a canvas of sheer natural beauty for kids and adults to enjoy. Out of Boyne’s “Magnificent 10” golf courses, this is indeed the number one gem. Expensive. Sure, but totally worth every penny.
This little creative project has me dreaming of a vlog series where we trot the globe playing the most beautiful golf courses and creating fun videos promoting the courses and products. Not a bad idea. Next time we could narrate it a bit better and make it a stronger production I suppose. It was all shot with an iPhone, just keeping up with the pace of play.
At the very least, it’s entertaining and educational to see your swing on film. And we’ve got a really great memory to share of a favorite course and some great brotherly bonding time. Even though Jimmy beat me that day.
