Caught the wings of the early bird and headed out to South Beach. Here are some shots I took. Using my chubby little Canon t3i and a kit lens, I came away with some cool angles and found myself in just the right spots to capture some good light. Working purely from manual mode was a test of recent learnings and this was the first time I buckled down and decided I wanted to actually use Lightroom. I spent a few full weekend days sitting through tutorials and managed to dazzle up some photos to my liking. Pretty pleased with the results and felt like I took a nice hop towards getting a little more serious about this photography hobby. I used a Soft Mist filter with some slight adjustments on most and it gave the album a nice cozy, easy-breezy South Beachy mood. You can view the album here.
